Bus Transportation

Transport for daily commuting is generally one of the worries of parents. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of the transportation, we have made arrangements for College buses for students as well as staff.

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel, the school has its own buses and vans run on the chateered routes of the city. In the morning for carrying students from the stoppage nearest from their residance to the school and in the afternoon back to their stoppages.
Mobile phones have been provided in each bus and van that insures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies.
Students availing the convenience facility have to observe the notified timings.
Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus and van is well trained in first aid and emergency management.
The school offers this safe and comfortable transport service as a measure of convenience which cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Information regarding the routes, stoppages timings and charges may be ascertained from the school office.

Classrooms

The School provides for the spacious user-friendly air-conditioned classrooms equipped with all the required materials and audio-visual aids assisting in the teaching and learning process. The curriculum incorporates interactive teaching-learning methodologies which facilitate the classes and break the monotony of traditional learning patterns. Our “smart” class-rooms are equipped with Tata Class Edge digital systems – the modern technology supporting teachers in helping students construct their knowledge by involving them in learning.

The number of students in each class is restricted, which makes it possible for a teacher to give individual attention to each student. The class-room furniture is custom-made to cater for the needs of the students of various age-groups.

Laboratories

At every stage in life, we are connected to different aspects of chemistry directly or indirectly. It encircles a variety of fields –agriculture, food, medicine, fertilizers, polymers, metals etc. Thus, the knowledge of chemistry is useful in different aspects of human life.

Our chemistry lab is well equipped with chemicals and other apparatus to cater to the needs of all the students up to class 12. Students start using the chemistry lab from class 6 onwards. They show great enthusiasm in using chemicals and perform hands on experiments. An additional advantage of our lab is an Educomp smart board with real and animated versions of different experiments. It is also supported by a virtual lab which is used to conduct experiments on the board and observe the reactions. The virtual lab also provides animations of chemical reactions at the molecular level. The lab has an excellent safety system with fire extinguishers and a shower cum eye washer equipment. The lab inculcates curiosity and inquisitiveness in students. It plays a very important role in developing a scientific temperament in our students.

Library

Learning through self-study and reading are important skills that ensure developing habits of sustained learning, which is an indispensable tool for the future for our students. For this purpose, a well-equipped and well-stocked library with different types of books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers and other reading material is available. Every child is encouraged to develop healthy reading habits by regularly visiting the library during fixed library periods and even during scheduled break times.

Atal Tinkering Lab

ATL is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). ATL would contain educational and learning ‘do it yourself’ kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open source microcontroller boards, sensors and 3D printers and computers. Other desirable facilities include meeting rooms and video conferencing facility.

In order to foster inventiveness among students, ATL can conduct different activities ranging from regional and national level competitions, exhibitions, workshops on problem solving, designing and fabrication of products, lecture series etc. at periodic intervals.
